“I get intrusive thoughts in my head and bad mental health and last week was really bad and I came here today and saw the crafts and flowers and thought ‘oh no’ because I’m not a crafty person. But I’ve really loved it and it’s actually quietened my mind down and given me a rest in my head for 2 hours”
Our Goddess Workshops increase self esteem, promote body confidence and celebrate individuality whilst offering a therapeutic and gentle atmosphere acknowledging mental health awareness. Over 200 pieces of Goddess Crown Art were made throughout workshops in 2017 for participants to wear & keep to remind them that they are a GODDESS.
And it doesn't stop at the Crowns! This workshop also involves a catwalk parade, a Goddess pledge, cake, biscuits and juice all to the backdrop of an uplifting female playlist of well known girl power anthems to sing-a-long to whilst we're crafting.
